Rotary Chicken Barbecue 2012

Chicken Barbecue

One of the popular events on the Rotary calendar is our annual Chicken Barbecue. This year the barbecue is scheduled for October 14th, 11AM to 1PM, and will take place in its normal location: the community center building at the fairgrounds.

Event Details

What: Annual Chicken Barbecue — Proceeds to benefit community and youth activities
Menu: Half chicken, potato salad, baked beans, and ice cream
Where: West Liberty Fairgrounds (you may eat on-site or simply drive through and pick up your chicken dinners)
Date: Sunday, October 14th, 2012
Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Tickets: $8.00 and are available from any Rotarian

International Youth Exchange
Cub Scout Pack 141
National Honor Society
Scholarships to Graduates
Books to West Liberty Library
Funding for Pre-School Education
“Meals on Wheels” Deliveries
Senior Citizens Christmas Event
Honor Volunteer Firemen, City Officials, and School Board Members
West Liberty’s 175th Anniversary

Instructions for Rotarians

Rotarians! We need all hands on deck for this event! Please contact Jim Carey, Tom Brooke or Bill Koellner to get your work assignment for the event. If you are not able to help, please let one of them know as soon as possible.

Steve Hanson is our Ticket Sales Chairperson this year. Our goal is to sell 1050 tickets (the amount we sold last year). If each member of our club sells 20 tickets, we will reach 800 tickets sold. Please make a commitment to sell at least 20 tickets.
